• Sales and Sharing: Slate does not sell your personal information for monetary compensation. Furthermore, Slate does not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Only you, or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. We must verify your identity (typically by asking you to log in or confirm via your registered email address) before responding to your request.

5. CalOPPA "Do Not Track" (DNT) Disclosure

CalOPPA requires us to disclose how we respond to "Do Not Track" signals. Slate currently does not alter its data collection practices or respond to automated browser "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals, as a uniform technological standard has not yet been universally adopted.

6. California "Shine the Light" Law

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits users who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Slate does not disclose personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes.
